Ingredients
1 cup Bowl & Basket all-purpose flour
2 tbs Bowl & Basket brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp apple pie spice
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 Wholesome Pantry large egg
1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp. apple cider
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large apple, peeled, halved, cored and chopped
1/2 cup Bowl & Basket powdered sugar
Directions

1. Preheat the 3-quart air fryer to 400° for 5 minutes; line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.

 

2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, brown sugar, baking powder, apple pie spice, and baking soda. In a medium bowl, whisk egg, ⅓ cup apple cider, and vanilla extract. Whisk egg mixture into flour mixture; fold in apple. Makes about 2 cups.

 

3. In 2 batches, using 2 small spoons, drop apple mixture into 2-inch mounds, 2 inches apart, in a prepared air fryer basket; spray with cooking spray and air fry for 8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp, turning once. Transfer fritters to cookie sheet.

 

4. In a medium bowl, whisk powdered sugar and the remaining 1 tablespoon of apple cider; drizzle over fritters. Makes 8 fritters.
